HMS to hold job fairs Feb. 19 and March 12 in North Little Rock.

The second North Little Rock HMS job fair will be held on Wednesday, March 12 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Arkansas Rehabilitation Services- Region 7 at 3901 McCain Park Drive, Suite 113.

HMS has full-time openings with benefits and paid time off.

Some of the openings include P&A Operators, Maintenance Technician, and Warehouse Assistant Supervisor.

HMS is looking to add P&A Operators for their day, night, and weekend shifts. P&A Operators are responsible for the assembly and packaging of products being manufactured. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, be able to pay attention to detail, be able to read and write, detect defect defective products based on work instructions and supplied product samples, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, use various hand tools including plastic clippers, stand and move around the facility, stack products above their head during a 12-hour shift, and lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

The manufacturing company is searching for a night-shift Maintenance Technician, who performs daily checks on plastic injection molding machines and other production equipment to prevent malfunctions and reduce machine downtime. Applicants must have a High school diploma or GED, and at least five (5) years of maintenance experience in the manufacturing industry. Injection molding experience is a plus, but not required. The maintenance technician must be able to read blueprints, electrical diagrams, and hydraulic schematics, have good verbal and written communication skills, excellent time management skills, and strong working knowledge of various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions. They must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, lift and move up to 50 pounds, sit, stand, and move around the facility for extended periods.

The Assistant Worker Supervisor vacancy is for the second shift. They play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. They are responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing the daily activities of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products, to maintain a safe and organized warehouse. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least two (2) years of warehouse or logistics experience, knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse equipment, strong communication and leadership skills, be able to lift to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
