UPDATE: Under Act 195 of 2023, child labor work permits (other than entertainment work permits) are no longer REQUIRED. NOTE: All state and federal laws regarding work activities and hours will remain in effect and will be enforced. Enhanced civil and criminal penalties for child labor law violations were provided by Act 687 of 2023.
