JAZMINE BURNETT’S SUCCESS STORY

Recent high school graduate, Jazmine Burnett, needed help making her mark in the workplace after being unsuccessful with her job search. In November 2019, she connected with the Arkansas Workforce Center in Brinkley hoping to find assistance in obtaining employment.

Shortly after, she enrolled in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Youth Program and participated in the Work Experience Program where she had the opportunity to work for Arkansas Land and Farm Development Corporation where she gained helpful work experience to develop the skills needed to be successful in the workplace.

Being impressed with her strong work ethic and excelling in her job duties, Arkansas Land and Farm Development Corporation offered Jazmine full-time employment on March 5, 2020 as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, which she happily accepted.

Overall, she was able to reach her goals and can now apply her determination and learned skills in the workforce. Now, she is positive, confident, and focused on advancing in her career.
