The Arkansas Department of Corrections will hold a job fair on June 11 at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center at 3805 W. 12th Street in Little Rock.

An Arkansas Department of Corrections representative will be at the job fair from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.






The Department of Corrections is currently hiring for an ADC/DCC Corporal at the Tucker Maximum Security Unit.


The anticipated starting salary for the ADC/DCC Corporal is $45,180.80, according to the job posting on the arcareers site. The Arkansas Department of Correction/Department of Community Correction (ADC/DCC) Corporal is responsible for maintaining security and directing the activities of inmates/residents during an assigned shift or observing the behavior of inmates/residents and documenting records. The position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy. Applicants must have the formal education equivalent of a high school diploma and one year of experience in correctional security or law enforcement. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of the basic requirements, except for the certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the Qualifications Review Committee.
