Two Little Rock churches will host Back-to-School Block Parties on Saturday, August 10.

Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church will have its Back to School Block Party Giveaway from 9 a.m. until noon at 1316 Brown St. in Little Rock.

Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church will have its Back to School Block Party Giveaway from 9 a.m. until noon at 1316 Brown St. in Little Rock. At the free event, students will receive backpacks, school supplies, food, and more. The event is sponsored by SMA Medicine & Nephrology and Moses C. Ejiofor, M.D.

Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church will have its Back to School Block Party from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 8715 Oman Road in Little Rock.

The free event includes food, music, school supplies, vendors, and community resources from the Center for Healing Hearts & Spirits, Wholistic Healing Outreach Center, Inc., Rise Above Alcohol & drugs, Arkansas Nurses Association, and Webster University.
