The Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area (CAWDA) offers a list of educational training providers who offer programs that are approved for WIOA or other federal funding.
Striving to include organizations that deliver training or education in high-demand occupations in Central Arkansas, UA Pulaski Technical College Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute, a world-class culinary, baking and pastry, hospitality, and wine training center, is one of many on the list.
The UA Pulaski Technical College opened its Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute on September 24, 2013 and is home to the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management Institute. They offer the same standards of education as the country’s foremost culinary institutes at a fraction of the cost.
With the 2013 opening of the Culinary & Hospitality Management Institute and the addition of programs of Hospitality Management, Wine Studies, Mixology and Microbrewery that were added to the Culinary Arts programs, the college was able to offer a wide range of course curriculum. Most importantly, a lot of excitement surrounded the opening of this Institute because the center is accredited by both the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation and the Accrediting Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration.
Lastly, all degree and certificate programs feature a rigorous curriculum and as a result, students are prepared to enter the workforce in a wide variety of settings, including restaurants, hotels, resorts, bakeries, and commercial kitchens.
